The Alumni Committee of XIMB, in association with the Bhubaneswar Alumni Chapter, is organizing Sanidhya’16, the annual Alumni Meet, on 5 th Nov at XIM, Bhubaneswar. Sanidhya is held every year across 7 major cities of the country, viz. Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Bhubaneswar to provide a wonderful platform for the eminent alumni to reconnect with their alma mater. With an average count of attendees per city going as high as 200 this year, and Mumbai being the leader with over 300 Alumni attending Sanidhya, this journey, so far, is an extremely successful one.

Bhubaneswar Sanidhya, organized on the campus of XIMB, draws Alumni from not just Bhubaneswar, but from across the country, who see this as an opportunity to be back on campus. Going by statistics alone, Sanidhya Bhubaneswar has always seen participation of an upward of 300 by the alumni alone. In addition to this, the illustrious faculty and students of XIMB attend in large numbers, thereby making it the biggest event of the year.

This time around, enchanting the audience with their scintillating performances would be ‘Internationally Acclaimed’ dancer and Locking & Popping specialist, Harihar Dash and renowned Singer & Vlogger, Subhechha Mohanty. Hailing from Berhampur (Odisha), Harihar Dash shot to fame when he participated in India’s Got Talent, where he was one of the finalists. He was later on picked up by the Canadian entertainment company, Cirque du

Soleil, which is the largest theatrical producer in the world. Subhechha Mohanty, on the other hand, is a very well-known face in Cuttack. Having performed at numerous corporate events, she regularly uploads Bollywood Covers & Vlogs on her YouTube page. In addition to this, there will be performances by the talented students of XIMB.

The last step in the journey of Sanidhya’16 is going to be a memorable evening for the Alumni, students and faculty, alike. Hope it does justice to the tradition of & ‘Reconnect- Reminisce-Relive’
