Very few colleges can boast of an alumni network as robust and widespread as XIMB – one of the premier B-Schools in India (Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar) with its members occupying top leadership positions in the corporate world.
To reinforce this bond and celebrate it’s 29-year-old legacy, every summer the XIMB community congregates in major cities across the country at Sanidhya – the annual alumni meet conducted by the Alumni Committee of XIMB.
Sanidhya provides the alumni an opportunity to meet old friends and re-live old memories. This year, Sanidhya kick started at Hyderabad and Chennai on 7th May 2016 and will now be hosted at different cities as per the schedule below!
Hyderabad: May 7, 2016
Chennai: May 7, 2016
Kolkata: May 14, 2016
Delhi: May 21, 2016
Bangalore: May 28, 2016
Mumbai: June 4, 2016
Time to mark your calendars!
The Bhubaneswar chapter of Sanidhya will be organised later in October this year.
The faculty members and current students of XIMB also attend the event which provides a platform for the XIMB Alumni to reinforce the bond with their Alma Mater, meet the faculty who once taught them, network with their colleagues and share their experiences with the current batch students who are undergoing their summer internship in these cities. They also provide constructive suggestions and ideas on how to take the institute to greater heights and strengthen the brand XIMB. The current students also get an opportunity to understand the industry expectations. Apart from rejuvenating the bond of Alums and the institute, Sanidhya also plays an important role in alignment of institute curriculum with the industry.
As a unique initiative, aspirants who have been selected for admission in XIMB in the next academic session are also invited to the event which makes Sanidhya an amalgamation of alumni, current students and future students along with the faculty members. This amalgamation helps in building and strengthening strong bond between different batches.
In todays age of cut-throat competition within Industry, its initiatives like these coupled with a unique and strong student culture that sets XIMB apart from other B Schools in the country.
