This would make any resident of Tirupati picture a fast food center with a white shirt cashier, master (chef) busy oiling the dosa’s , no place for parking outside the restaurant, Rich moustached uncles sipping their filter caafffi and Aunty’s stuffing little crumbs of dosas in their infants mouth while gulping bigger one’s themselves . Yes, it is that famous in Tirupati. No issues in calling it as a landmark and standing tall among the fast food restaurants of the city. Trendsetter- is what we can call it. No, this article is not sponsored by Manasa. Trendsetter it is, because of the hygiene it maintains. Chef’s cap and gloves, which have become quite a trend for every fast food restaurant. It’s not the only thing about the restaurant but the location where it stands, which is the busiest area of Tirupati , which boosts it’s business. There is more to it. Manasa has been expanding and creating a brand identity in the recent years.
The menu at Manasa have been satiating the tummies of Tirupati without pinning a hole in the pocket. Your “Amma” would never mind, if you said you had your tiffin at Manasa. The gastronomical delight would be the open dosa with the potato masala topping with fresh white butter. When served with green chilly chutney and red hot sambar would blow away your oral numbness. If you want to give your oral senses a high you should try the Karam dosa and the Masala dosa. Upma served here comes with cashew, which is not that commonly seen. If you vowed not to eat idli sambar anymore . This isn’t a place for you.
You would surely be thanked , if you suggested any passerby asking for a decent restaurant.
The chinese manasa which is upstairs has seen its share of up’s and now dwells in the period of downs. For all those who ever lived in tirupati and rejoiced the delicacies of the chinese mansa would love recollecting the paneer 65 with south indian ‘gumagumalu’. With pocket friendly rates and high quality food, this is the ideal place for anyone visiting Tirupati .
