The latest installment of the highly successful Angry Birds series- Angry Birds Space will be launched on 22 March as per industry reports. Rovio, the company behind the game in a wild pre-launch gig prior to release demo-ed the game 250 miles above earth in the International Space Station.

It is one small fling for a bird, one quantum leap for birdkind!

If you thought you had played it all, got back all the eggs, saved all your friends, think again. Is your revenge complete. Are you satisfied yet ? Or do you want more ?

If you answer is in the affirmative, worry not because the biggest, baddest and the cutest birds are back !

Only this time, it is gonna be ‘Out of this World’. Quite literally.

The objective remains the same, kill those pigs who store your eggs. Its revenge time ! Just that now we have the gameplay in the hostile environment of outer space. Its all in vacuum where we have to navigate gravitational fields of surrounding floating objects, asteroids and a lot more surprises. But to help us out, we got new powers and some new friends as well. There is a Lazer bird and Ice bird.

The Lazer bird is a lightning bolt-crested, purple pig-killer dubbed as “one of the fastest objects in the universe” and the Ice bird is an all new bird that can freeze enemies. Sounds cool huh !

And if Rovio could have NASA flight engineer Don Pettit to demo the new game from his lofty and weightless perch aboard the International Space Station, in orbit about 243 miles above the earth, we can be more than sure that this is gonna be one helluva exciting and addictive game.

So all we can suggest is that you charge up all your devices and get ready to download the game on 22nd March (on all platforms – PC, Mac, iOS, Android), because that’s the day when the Angry birds are gonna fly into space.
