ITER has a crazy knack of putting together one amazing fest every passing year. This time also it’s not any different. 3 days of pure fun was what we were promised and so far, we are not complaining. It was a grand start to the festivities. Though Chakravyuh 2Kxi had an official inauguration on 19th December – the events and cultural fests started from 20th December.

Right from morning, the campus was buzzing with activity. Participants, coordinators, organizers, the campus had come alive. Around 10 am onwards, the busiest place no doubt was the registration desk. Students both from ITER as well as other colleges lining up to get the all access pass to one of the biggest techno management fest of Eastern India. And within some time, all the events went live. You could hear participants asking for directions, announcements on the speakers for event, results and everything else. Every direction you looked, you would see people lost in the mood and competition of Chakravyuh !

And if all these high pressure, energy demanding competitions made you weak, the best place to rejuvenate and re-energize was at all the food stalls : Ice-gola, Cold Drinks, Pizza, Biryani, Momos, Tea, Coffee, you name it, they had it !

After a day of cut throat competitions and high intensity preliminary rounds of the various events, it was time for some fun. It was time for the much awaited Laser Show by the LASER SHOW India, of Band Bajaa Barat fame. Lights, music and awestruck people were everywhere. The razor shafts of lasers was nothing like what Bhubaneswar had seen before. The electrifying display made sure the night started on a grand note.

Keeping up with the pace and actually stepping up the tempo, came UDT Crew (United Dancing Twisterz), performing in the dance competition. Their moves were flawless, their flips marvelous and we were restrained by the cops before we could climb the stage and dance with them (We know latka, jhatka and thumka, big time).

For those unfortunate ones, caught up with internals and semesters, we have a visual treat of the night’s most amazing performances for you. This is the part where we tempt you and entice you to step out of the box you call room, and drag yourself to Chakravyuh 2kxi.
