The ‘We Care Film Fest’ is a travelling festival with the aim of raising awareness about disability issues through the medium of film and to foster integration in society by spreading the message of ability.
Brotherhood has been organising film festivals from 2003 onwards and more than 350 films have been shown in different venues including schools, educational institutions and Universities across the country. The films range from 1 minute documentaries to 120 minute mainstream films from India and abroad.
The festival is now coming to Bhubaneswar for the first time, in association with aaina and Brotherhood. The ‘We Care Film Fest’ Bhubaneswar will be held on 17th & 18th October 2011 at NALCO Auditorium, Nalco Nagar (near Suryansh Hotel), Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar. The 2-day festival will run from 10am – 8pm, with screenings of award winning documentary films and discussions with panels of experts from the disability field and film industry
